Godly Play: For children 3 years old through 2nd Grade
Godly Play provides an opportunity to learn Bible stories in context. This age appropriate method allows the children to experience God at their level and learn religious language they can understand. Helping them build the foundation for living a Christian life.

"Engaging the whole child: heart, mind, hands, senses, intuition" Godly Play is a Montessori-related approach to learning which enables children to experience the presence of a loving God and discover how to “speak the language” of their biblical faith.
The Godly Play curriculum is focused on both the Hebrew and Christian scriptures. It is a discovery method of learning, which enables young children to encounter God by using both of their critical gates of knowledge: play and language. Its intent is not so much to tell about God, as it is to invite children to experience God’s presence as real and gracious

Following Jesus: (Grades 3 – 5) This class will use the Following Jesus curriculum with supplemental materials from Godly Play and some created by Young Memorial.

Our Following Jesus class is Godly Play for older children, following closely the principles of Godly Play. The class studies the prophets from the Old Testament, take part in Liturgical lessons, and spend the majority of time concentrating on the life and lessons of Jesus. After the presentation of the story, the children will find the story in the Bible and discuss it more deeply. Follow up activities may include: studying the history of the time, making maps or murals, creating a drama or journal, as well as memorization of Bible verses.

Youth Group (6th - 12 Grades) This class uses the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum:
Season’s vision is for an authentic Christianity lived in our culturally diverse and religiously pluralistic world; to be signs of God’s liberating, compassionate, and inclusive love, and to grow in our relationship with God. Seasons continues to nurture faith through liturgy, ritual, imagination, and to encourage Christian growth through worshipping, learning, and serving together. Our true curriculum is how we live our lives together.
~ Susan Burt, Coordinating Editor, Seasons of the Spirit

Seasons connects the Bible passages of the Christian year to faith life
At home, in the community, and in the world. (Seasons is Revised Common Lectionary-based and offers material for both paired and semi-continuous lectionary streams of readings).
Nurtures faith development through imagination, creativity and by offering material for many types of learning styles. The weekly sessions use age-appropriate activities including drama, storytelling, crafts, music, group discussion, the arts and resources on the internet
