Vacation Bible School: Held in the summer. The school includes Bible study, crafts, and music for three year-olds through fifth grade. The children are encouraged to bring friends.
Third Fridays Again!: Meets on the third Friday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in a member’s home. This is an adult only gathering with the goal of creating and maintaining relationships between members. All adults are welcome to attend.
Parent’s Group: This is a group that meets regularly to discuss parenting issues and topics based on a book or recent study. This group uses the Sunday evening elective time for its meetings. All parents are invited to attend. A nursery is provided.
Lunch Bunch: A senior adult fellowship that meets the first Friday of each month at 11:45 a.m. in a local restaurant to enjoy the cuisine and good conversation.
The Women’s Ministries organization : Part of the larger Women’s Synodical Union of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Young Memorial’s Women’s Ministries has two circles that meet monthly for Bible study and fellowship. All women are encouraged to join.
Flora Halliday Bible Study Group – 10 a.m., Second Tuesday of each month
Business Women’s Circle – 6:30 p.m., Third Monday of each month
Conferences and Retreats: Our youth participate in both the spring and fall retreats for middle school and senior high students that are held on the Bonclarken assembly grounds of the denomination. In addition, there are several camps and conferences held at Bonclarken for all ages during the year and we encourage participation. Retreats, camps, and conferences are advertised on bulletin boards in the education building, in our newsletter and bulletin, and on the website.
Anderson School of Theology for Laypersons: Is an organization that Young Memorial participates in whereby leading theologians and scholars are brought to Anderson to give sermons and lectures.
Fall Festival: Held on a Sunday afternoon either in late October or early November with games, rides, music, food, and great conversation. You are encouraged to attend this fun time!
